1. Read 50 books
I have never kept track of how many books I can read in a year and 50 sounded like a solid number, so I'm doing it.
2. Go back and read at least one book from high school
I never properly finished or was given the opportunity to read a lot of the books I was supposed to read in high school, so I'm hoping to tackle The Catcher in the Rye, 1984 and Of Mice and Men.
3. Read one classic
I am all for chick-lit and easy reads, but would like to challenge myself this year. (Let me know which one is your favorite!)
4. Finish the Delirium trilogy
I started Delirium back in November for my Unplug & Read dystopian theme and didn't get to continue reading the trilogy due to the order of books I scheduled. Thankfully, I've stopped doing that (which I briefly discuss here) so I WILL be finishing this trilogy! I may also attempt to finish The Maze Runner trilogy as well :)
5. Re-read the entire Harry Potter series
One of my favorite series, if not favorite, and just a must-do every year.
6. Read five already-bought books
I always, and I mean always, buy books that I plan to read but end up leaving on my bookshelf to collect dust. I want to be able to say that I've read everything I own before I purchase new books! Some of my neglected books include The Year I Turned Sixteen, The Six Rules of Maybe, Beauty Queens, I'll Be There For You and Ten Girls to Watch.
What is a reading goal you hope to accomplish this year?
